Crist To Name George LeMieux To Replace Martinez CBS4 Miami
August 31st, 2009A Florida lawmaker reports Florida Governor Charlie Crist will name George LeMieux to replace outgoing U.S. Senator Mel Martinez. LeMieux is from South Florida and attended schools in Coral Springs, Florida. He’s practiced law in Fort Lauderdale and was Chairman of the Broward County Republican Party in 2000. LeMieux has ties to Crist after he ran Crist’s campaign for governor in 2006.
